HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HAND-BLOCK PRINT ENSEMBLES

 

As part of our sustainable collection, we want you to make the most of your Sirohi purchases to ensure they last long. Our hand-block print designs are made using eco-dyes, on 100% cotton.

 

Here are some of our tips on how to care for your hand-block print cotton and other textiles. If you have a question, please do text us & we are happy to advise! 

 

 

• Softly hand wash inside-out separately in Cold Water (not hot, not warm) at no more than 30 degrees.

• Do not wring or tumble dry.

• Dry in shade

• When in doubt - Better to  Dry - Clean

• Pull to shape and dry inside-out and away from strong light.

• Run a hot iron over your piece before wear to minimise any wrinkles and stiffness 

• Any detergent with bleach or whitening chemicals will interfere with the prints’ colours

• All our tassels are hand made & to ensure they stay beautiful, we suggest wrapping them in a small plastic bag and securing it with an elastic band before washing

 

 

You may find some small but unexpected marks on the fabric- These are tiny dye droplets and are a normal echo of the printing process, signifying the handmade nature of our products, each of which is entirely unique.
